Agreeing to these terms

avoracp.com is the website of Avora Clinical Partners, a brand of Consumer Response Media. By reading it, writing to us or signing up for trial updates you accept these terms. If any part of them is unacceptable to you, the right course is to leave the site.

What Avora is

Avora publishes plain-language information about clinical research in six areas of health, explains what taking part in a study usually involves, and sends updates by email, or by text if you choose. Avora is not a medical provider or a study sponsor. It does not run, pay for or recruit to studies, and it gives no medical advice.

Nothing Avora sends is a referral or an enrollment, and nothing suggests that a particular study would accept you.

Information, not advice

Our pages describe research in general terms. They cannot account for your health, your history or your medicines. Talk to a qualified health professional before you begin, stop or change any treatment, or decide whether to take part in a study.

Studies are run by their own teams

Avora does not link to outside websites and does not act for any study team. Each study belongs to the team running it, which sets its own rules, keeps its own records and can pause or close the study at any time.

Your part

You must be at least 18 to sign up, and the details you give must be yours and correct. You can ask us at any time to change them or to cancel your sign-up.

SMS text messaging

Program description

Avora trial updates is a program of recurring automated marketing text messages sent directly by Avora Clinical Partners to people who have opted in. The texts concern clinical research in the six areas Avora explains, chiefly the one you picked at sign-up: a page we have added, what studies in that area commonly involve, or a reply about your sign-up or message. Each text begins [Avora Clinical Partners].

How you opt in

Opting in means typing your mobile number on the Trial updates page or the contact form and checking the text message box yourself. We never check it for you.

Consent

Consent is not a condition of purchase or service, or of taking part in any study. All of avoracp.com stays open to you whether or not you agree to texts.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, set by your mobile carrier. Avora itself charges nothing for these texts.

Opting out

Reply STOP at any time to opt out and cancel. One confirmation follows, then no further messages. Calling or emailing us to say stop works just as well.

Help

Reply HELP for help, or contact us on (800) 741-9835 or at info@avoracp.com, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm EST.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. The SMS terms and the Privacy policy explain how your number and consent are handled.

Accuracy and liability

We take care over every page, but research changes faster than any summary of it, so we cannot warrant that a page is complete or current. To the extent the law permits, Avora accepts no liability for loss arising from use of the site or from a decision made about research.

Changes to these terms

From time to time we update these terms. The date at the top shows which version applies, and using the site after an update means you accept it.

Law and questions

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming. Questions are welcome at info@avoracp.com or on (800) 741-9835.

AvoraClinical Partners
